Full-time missions has been on our hearts for many years. In October of 2022, Tim and I both said it was time to start the process. We prayed. We slowly worked out details and we began our fundraising process in May of 2023 with the help of Global Missions. By the end of July, we were fully funded and we crossed the border on September 7th, 2023.

We worked alongside Mark Neafie at Xiwi de Vida, a ministry we have been a small part of since 2016. Mark graciously housed us at the ministry as we continued the search for a home. Brooke cooked for the meal program during the week, we hosted a youth night each week, worked with the youth during Sunday services, and Tim had men's Bible Study and bunk bed ministry running. We enjoyed helping with a local Christian school at Lula's home and being a part of her ministry with youth and married couples.

During this time, we kept our hearts open to where God was leading us and found another ministry to serve at YUGO Ministries of Chapultepec just 20 minutes North of where we were serving. YUGO Ministries hosts short-term mission teams from the US and Canada to share the Gospel with Ensenada and the surrounding areas. We are grateful to have joined this team as Tim spends most of his time in construction at the ministry and on house builds. Brooke serves on the Reaching Team as their VBS leader. In our short time as missionaries, we are finding our purpose through our relationships with Jesus. It is not through our "jobs" but through the unique calling of living missionally. Missions being not just serving the poor and local church, but through whom God puts in our lives through neighbors, conversations at the store and of course intentional outreach. 

Our family relies on God and you to do His work! Both our family and ministry work are funded by donations from churches, families and individuals in the States. 

Our goal is to preach the Good News and equip local residents to do the same.
